On December 7, 2012, we celebrate the 13th anniversary of the creation of the Brazilian Intelligence Agency. The date marks the signing of Law n. 9.883/1999, which designated Abin as the central department of the Brazilian Intelligence System (Sisbin). Among its responsibilities, Abin carries out the National Intelligence Policy and all its related actions, integrating the work of the Intelligence departments in the country. Thus, Abin is a direct advisor to the Head of State, ensuring comprehensive knowledge of facts and situations related to the well-being of our society and the development and security of our country.
